MPOWRD Training Overview:
Our comprehensive MPOWRD training spans 6 hours and is thoughtfully divided into manageable modules, each designed to guide trainees step-by-step through the entire MPOWRD program. By the end of the training, participants are fully equipped and confident to lead and facilitate the program effectively in their own settings.

Duration:
The training program is completely online and can be taken at the speed and schedule of individual participants. The entire training totals approximately 6 hours of comprehensive instruction and practice.

Prerequisites and Requirements:
- Facilitators should be approved by administration.
- School counselors, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and coaches are often invested in this opportunity.
- No prior experience in peer-led programs is required, but a commitment to enhancing student engagement and well-being is essential.

- Peer-Led Strategies: Training on how to empower students to take leadership roles within the program.

- All material for each meeting is pre-printed and ready for use.
- Upon approval of either the school administrator or youth system director, facilitators will complete the online training.
- When the modules are finished, MPOWRD will need to be notified when the meetings are initiated. This will be the final step for official lifetime certification indicating capability to manage MPOWRD meetings.
