The Story

MPOWRD teens shared the challenges that are part of growing up in all cultures. They recognized that both loneliness and isolation are a common thread in society that needs to be addressed.
“Just Me” is not just a song, but a testimony to their journey. The lyrics share the importance for everyone’s personal right to be recognized, understood and respected.

Your Voice Matters

MPOWRD teens, Hope Case and Ben Ledesma, with the musical arrangement of “Solid Rock,” share “Just Me” with you today. The song’s message creates an opportunity for personal empowerment, leadership, and faith in both self and others.

Get Involved

T-shirts were created to continue the message in the “Just Me” campaign. Go to our Teen Section, fill in your thoughts, pictures, or videos of support to all teens on the upload form. You will be entered in a free t-shirt drawing!

MPOWRD Submission Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By submitting any content, including but not limited to artwork, poetry, or any messages of inspiration (collectively, “Submissions”) to MPOWRD, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should refrain from making any Submissions.

2. Use of Submissions

In making a Submission, you grant MPOWRD a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display the Submission in any media, including but not limited to our website, social media platforms, and advertising materials. MPOWRD reserves the right to use Submissions at its discretion without any obligation to compensate you or notify you.

3. Anonymity and Privacy

MPOWRD is committed to protecting your privacy. While we may publicly share your Submission, we will only identify the content by your age and will not publish your name or any other personal identifiers. By submitting your content, you consent to this form of anonymous presentation.

4. Content Guidelines

You agree that your Submissions will be your original work and will not violate the rights of any third parties, including copyright, trademark, privacy, and publicity rights. Submissions must not contain any content that is deemed rude, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate. MPOWRD reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject or remove any Submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines or that are otherwise objectionable.

5. No Obligation to Use

Submission of content does not guarantee that MPOWRD will use it. The decision to use any Submission is at the sole discretion of MPOWRD, and submissions that are not used will not be returned to the contributors.

6. Liability

By submitting content, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless MPOWRD and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) that arise from the use of your Submission as described in these terms.

7. Modifications to Terms

MPOWRD reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Your continued submission of content following any such modification constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
